Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Handlr (“the Service”), operated by mavi Finans Ltd, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Handlr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Handlr is a creator support platform. Creators create a profile page where supporters (“Supporters”) can make financial contributions via card payment. Handlr facilitates these transactions through mavi pay and Stripe but is not a bank, payment institution, or financial advisor.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account registration

You must be at least 16 years old to use Handlr. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or use another person's account.

4. Creator obligations

As a creator on Handlr, you agree to:

• Provide accurate profile information including KYC details as required
• Comply with all applicable laws, including tax obligations on income received
• Not use Handlr for illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, or financing of prohibited activities
• Not post content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or infringes intellectual property rights
• Respond to supporter inquiries in a timely manner

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Supporter obligations

As a supporter, you agree that donations are voluntary and non-refundable except where required by law. You may not use fraudulent payment methods. Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time through your account settings.

6. Payments and fees

Payments are processed by mavi pay and Stripe. Handlr charges a platform fee on each transaction, which is disclosed before payment confirmation. Creators are responsible for any taxes, including VAT, on income received through the Service. Payouts are subject to our payout policy.

7. Intellectual property

Creators retain all rights to content they post on their Handlr page. By posting content, you grant Handlr a limited license to display it on the Service. Handlr's name, logo, and design are trademarks of mavi Finans Ltd.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Cyprus and EU law, Handlr is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your public page will be removed. Financial records are retained as required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus. Consumers may also have rights under their local consumer protection laws.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
