1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers only Handlr’s programme for introducing new creators who later generate revenue for Handlr. It does not govern a separate social-media promoter platform or any other business’s referral programme. Handlr is operated by the entity identified in its Terms of Service.
The optional programme in which a creator chooses to share part of their donation proceeds with an affiliate is separate and has separate terms. Its balances, rates and qualifying events must be identified separately. This policy does not create a deduction from a creator's donation proceeds in addition to Handlr's applicable published fees.
Participation is free. You do not buy membership, make a donation or recruit other promoters to qualify. Rewards cover your own direct referrals only; there are no rewards from another promoter's referrals.
2. Who can participate
You must have your own Handlr account, verify your email, receive programme approval and accept the applicable policy version before referrals can qualify. A public creator page is optional. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement, or participate through an eligible legal entity represented by an authorised adult.
You must give accurate identity and payout information and complete the verification required for your supported payout destination. Programme and payout availability depend on your country and payment-provider eligibility. Handlr does not promise that payouts are available in every country. Supported destinations must be disclosed before you join.
Approval to participate does not guarantee traffic, creator activity, revenue or any minimum reward.
3. What counts as a new creator referral
A new creator is a genuine person or organisation that has not previously held a Handlr account. Opening another account, reopening an account or creating another page for the same person or controlled business does not make an existing account eligible.
The creator must use your valid approved link, create their account within 60 days of the qualifying click, verify their email and complete creator registration. Handlr records completed creator registration when the verified new account first successfully saves its active creator page.
Where more than one approved partner link is used before registration, the last qualifying recorded link wins. One new creator can have only one referrer under this programme. Once registration attribution is confirmed, later clicks, sign-ins or account edits do not replace that referrer or restart the earning period.
The signup process must preserve the recorded referral through verification and supported external sign-in. A copied username, an editable discount parameter or a promoter's own claim does not establish entitlement. If tracking appears incorrect, contact Handlr with relevant non-secret evidence. A correction requires verified evidence and a recorded staff decision; there is no automatic retroactive claim based on a verbal agreement.
4. When a referral starts earning
The referred creator's first verified successful payment that actually generates a collected eligible fee must occur within 12 calendar months of completing creator registration. Otherwise the referral does not enter an earning period. Registering again does not restart this deadline.
The original verified successful-payment time of that first qualifying transaction fixes the start of a 12-calendar-month earning period, once the eligible fee is confirmed. The period does not wait for the verification hold or payout. Only qualifying transactions whose original verified payment time falls within that period can create new rewards. A delayed provider confirmation can establish an eligible earlier transaction; it cannot move its date or extend the period.
Refunds, repeat callbacks, campaign changes, page reloads, inactivity and later sign-ins do not restart either period. The deadline for generating new rewards does not remove an existing legitimate balance that is still being held or has not reached the payout minimum.
Handlr records dates in UTC. Calendar-month periods retain the original time and day where possible; where that day does not exist in the ending month, the last day of that month is used. The ending instant is excluded. When this programme opens, its dashboard must show the recorded start and end dates.
5. How rewards are calculated
The reward is 10% of eligible Handlr platform fees, not 10% of creator payments or creator earnings.
Eligible fees are the Handlr platform fees actually collected on qualifying successful real payments and available to Handlr, after applicable fee waivers, discounts, credits, refunds and reversals. Handlr's transaction records and payment-provider confirmations establish the amounts. Any portion linked to an open dispute, suspected artificial activity or unresolved settlement is held out of the available balance while it is reviewed.
The following do not count as eligible fees:
- Money belonging to creators or supporters.
- Stripe or other payment-processing charges, bank charges or currency-conversion charges.
- Tax collected for an authority or another party.
- Clicks, signups, free accounts, test payments, unsuccessful payments and unpaid or estimated fees.
- Refunded or reversed portions of payments, or their associated fee allocation.
- Fees waived by a promotion, individual discount or Handlr's current zero-fee pricing.
For example, if Handlr collects and retains €2.70 of eligible fees on a qualifying payment, the reward is €0.27. Handlr retains €2.43 before its other costs. If the eligible fee is €0, the reward is €0.
Small calculated fractions must be accumulated accurately and carried forward. Only an amount actually payable is rounded down to whole euro cents, so repeated small payments do not lose every fractional reward and rounding never creates an overpayment. A final account closure cannot round a fractional euro cent up into a payment.
6. How creator promotions affect rewards
A creator's individual fee waiver remains valid for its promised duration. While that creator pays no Handlr platform fee, they generate no reward under this programme, however much support they receive.
There is no deferred commission on waived fees, no later catch-up payment for the free period and no retrospective charge to the creator. Earning can begin only when a later transaction actually generates an eligible fee and the referral still meets its activation deadline.
Advertising a six-month creator fee waiver is not a promise that the referrer starts earning automatically after six months. The applicable published pricing and the actual fee charged still determine eligibility. Disabling enrolment into a campaign does not shorten fee waivers already granted to creators.
7. Pending rewards and the verification hold
When this programme opens, its dashboard distinguishes a tracked referral from a pending reward, an available reward, a reserved payout, a paid reward and a reversal. A tracked signup or estimated future earning is not an available cash balance.
Each otherwise eligible reward has a standard hold of at least 60 elapsed days from the date its underlying eligible fee becomes available to Handlr. This gives time to check settlement, refunds and referral validity. The hold is not a guarantee that a payment can never later be disputed.
A specific refund, dispute, verification problem or documented abuse investigation can keep affected rewards on hold for longer. Handlr will give an understandable reason and review the hold as the underlying issue changes, except where disclosure is restricted by law or would compromise security. Unrelated valid earnings are not cancelled merely because another transaction is under review.
8. Payouts
Once your available balance reaches €25, it can enter the monthly payout review. Amounts below the minimum carry forward; they do not become a charge to Handlr for referring a certain number of people. The minimum applies to your total eligible balance across direct creator referrals in this programme.
For balances meeting all conditions at the end of a month, Handlr schedules eligible payouts by the fifth business day of the following month. A business day excludes weekends and public holidays applicable to Handlr's operating office. Provider and bank delivery times are additional and are not guaranteed by Handlr.
Release requires completed identity and payout checks, an eligible destination, expiry of the relevant hold and resolution of affected disputes or adjustments. Staff review the payout batch before release. A payout is marked paid only after confirmed provider execution; a queued, reserved or uncertain transfer is not described as received by your bank. Uncertain transfers are reconciled before any retry.
Payouts are in EUR. Handlr does not add a separate withdrawal fee under this policy; your provider or bank may apply its own disclosed charges or conversion rate. Required reporting or withholding is handled according to applicable law. You must keep payout details current and remain responsible for your own legal obligations.
Rewards are funded from Handlr's fee share. This programme does not authorise taking another creator's money to cover a reward or charging the referred creator an extra referral fee.
9. Refunds disputes and overpayments
If a qualifying payment is partly refunded, reversed or disputed, the related reward is recalculated using the original fee allocation and programme rate. It is not recalculated using a newer rate. A full disqualification removes the reward attributable to that payment.
Before payment, the adjustment reduces the pending or available amount. After payment, a justified overpayment can be offset against your future programme earnings. If further repayment is required, Handlr must provide an itemised explanation and use a lawful recovery process; this policy does not authorise an undisclosed debit from your card or bank account.
An open dispute can temporarily hold the affected amount. If the payment and its eligible fee are restored after a dispute is resolved, the corresponding reward can be restored under the original terms. The same loss cannot be deducted twice. Statements must preserve the original earning and each correction rather than silently rewriting history.
10. Activity that does not qualify
The programme does not reward:
- Referring yourself, another account you control or a business you control.
- Fabricated identities, duplicate accounts, impersonation or account sales.
- Donations or payments financed, reimbursed or circulated to manufacture a referral reward.
- Arranged payment-and-refund activity, collusion or the use of stolen payment methods.
- Cookie stuffing, forced redirects, hidden referral links, tracking manipulation or attempts to steal another referrer's attribution.
- Promoting prohibited content, sending spam or making false promises about fees, earnings, payout eligibility or availability.
Genuine relationships between people do not by themselves prove abuse. A shared household, device or network can prompt a review but is not, on its own, a final finding of fraud. Handlr may request proportionate evidence of independent ownership and legitimate activity.
11. How you may promote Handlr
You may share approved links and QR codes on your own livestreams, creator profiles, websites and other legitimate channels. Explain the offer accurately and distinguish the creator signup promotion from a creator's donation link.
Clearly disclose that you may receive a referral reward. A suitable example is: “I may earn a reward from Handlr's platform fees if you join through my link and later qualify.” Put the disclosure where the audience can notice it alongside the recommendation, and follow the rules that apply to the audience and platform.
Do not impersonate Handlr, promise guaranteed earnings, offer an undisclosed cashback arrangement or state that a temporary waiver lasts forever. Paid search using Handlr's brand, advertising that impersonates Handlr and paid campaigns requiring Handlr-funded spending need separate written approval. You have no authority to change Handlr's offers or incur costs on Handlr's behalf.
12. Suspension closure and the end of the programme
Handlr may stop new referrals, suspend participation or end the programme with notice where reasonably possible. Urgent security or legal concerns can require an immediate pause.
Stopping new referrals does not by itself cancel valid existing attribution, a promised creator fee waiver or already earned legitimate rewards. Existing accepted earning periods remain subject to their recorded terms. Proven fraud, reversals and justified overpayment corrections remain subject to this policy.
If you leave or the programme ends, existing valid balances remain recorded and follow the applicable hold and payout conditions. If a final balance is below €25, you can request a final settlement once checks are complete and an eligible destination is available. Provider minimum transfer amounts and legal restrictions still apply. If a lawful transfer cannot yet be made, the valid balance remains recorded rather than requiring Handlr to invent a different payment route. A balance is not simply forfeited because it is small or because the ordinary earning period ended. Any legally required handling of an unclaimed or unreachable balance remains applicable.
13. Statements corrections and complaints
When you enrol in this programme, your Handlr account must show the programme, attributed creators, relevant dates, fee basis, rate, pending and available rewards, adjustments and payout history. Private supporter payment information and other creators' confidential information are not disclosed to prove your claim.
Contact Handlr support promptly if you believe a statement, attribution or adjustment is incorrect. Include the programme and case references shown in your account. Handlr will review the evidence and give a reasoned response. An internal request to report discrepancies promptly does not remove rights that applicable law gives you.
14. Changes to these terms
On enrolment, Handlr must record the version accepted by each participant and the commercial terms attached to each qualifying referral. Ordinary changes to rates, earning periods or payout charges apply prospectively to referrals accepted under the updated offer, following notice and any required renewed acceptance. They do not silently reduce already earned valid rewards or rewrite an existing accepted earning period.
Urgent changes needed to comply with law, address abuse or protect account security may apply as legally required. They must not be used as a reason to conceal a financial correction or confiscate unrelated valid earnings.
15. Relationship to other Handlr terms
This policy supplements Handlr's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It governs this creator-referral programme's qualification and rewards; it does not override mandatory legal rights or the payment provider's obligations. It does not create employment, agency, investment returns or a guaranteed income.
The governing-law and dispute provisions in Handlr's Terms of Service apply only to the extent they are lawful for the participant concerned. Programme questions and complaints can be raised through Handlr's contact page.
